BBcode is special code, that you can add to change the effects of text, and links, on most website forums, and more places. On this website, you can use it on the blog, the forums, and when sending a private message.
Now to get to the tutorial:
To underline text, like this, when typing in the reply, the comment box, or the create message box, you need to put [u]and then your text you want underlined would go here and then you need to close it off by putting[/u] all text inside those tags will be underlined.
If you want to bold text, like this, you need to put in [b] <--then all text inside these two tags -->[/b] will be bold.
to make text italic use [i] and the ending tag [/i]. The result would look like this.
These new two tags are different then the top ones. I will explain the [url] tag and the [img] tag.
The URL tag is used to insert a link into an article, like Click to see the forums!. To do that, you would put in [url=the link you want]text that describes the link here[/url]. The example I used was [url=/forums/]Click to see the forums![/url]. That is the URL tag.
The last one is the image tag. its like the url tag, but you would put in [img]link to the image here[/img]. so you could put in [img]/images/blog/table-top-comp.jpg[/img] and it would look like
